Brian Paxton PT, DPT
Brian is a South Georgia native who grew up playing sports, specifically golf. He continued to play competitive golf in both high school and college. Even as a young athlete, Brian recognized the connection between his technique/body mechanics and the improvement of his golf game.

His interest in human movement and injury rehabilitation led him to the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, where in 2004 he received a clinical doctorate in Physical Therapy with specialized training in manual therapy. The combination of Brian’s years of playing and training in competitive golf and his extensive educational background gives him both an eye for spotting golf-related movement dysfunction and the ability to remedy it.
After receiving his doctoral degree, Brian pursued certification from Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). He is TPI Golf Fitness certified and TPI Medical Level 2 certified. Brian has also undergone an extensive year long training and mentorship in the Dutch Philosophy of Manual Therapy with Tom Boers, physical therapist to an elaborate list of PGA tour players.

With a continual thirst for the most effective therapy for his clients, Brian has traveled the country over the last 15 years amassing 700+ hours of advanced continuing education studying biomechanics and human movement. Along the way he has developed a comprehensive toolbox of techniques designed to keep his clients functioning optimally everyday and performing at a higher level athletically.
Whatever background his clients have, Brian’s focus is to restore them to their prior quality of life and function. For athletes, his goal is to also return them to the field/court/course quickly while addressing joint dysfunction, faulty biomechanics and movement patterns... spotting potential future injuries. His extensive toolbox of techniques allows him to effectively treat a wide range of pain, injury and dysfunction.
